2552^th Veçak/Waisak Celebration in my place just held ordinarilly..

Same like the previous years, with “Countdown Meditation”, “Visakhapuja Gatha” and “Paddakhina/Pradaksina” (later)..

Exact time of Waisak was on May 20^th 2008, 10:11:08 GMT+8 (place time)..

Quite unexciting because happened after sunrise..

I miss to stay up all night long, waiting for “Countdown Meditation” on 5 am several years ago..

Peoples were coming from 8 am..

They just “cung cung cep” before the Puja begins..

And for me, I just got there on 9 am..

Missing the beginning part of Paritta Chanting session..

But it’s okay lah, because I have to take as much as possible pictures for my news report.. = fuuuh, even in holiday I still have to work.. =

Samanera Upasamo were leading the Puja due to absence of Bhante Adhikusalo Thera..

He had has to go to Borobudur for joinning Waisak Sermont..

The meditation session held in 15 mins..

And the exact time was on the middle of it..

So, when the meditation has reached 10:11:08 GMT+8, the bell and drum were hitted for alarming the people that the moon has reach it’s culmination point..

After the Puja, more than 450 peoples gathered on the front park for releasing balloons that attached with Waisak’s Greeting..

It was so beatiful, and the balloons floated smoothly until they got blast (becoz of sun’s heat) and the Waisak’s Greeting will scattered to the whole town (maybe)..

FYI, 450 peoples so surprised us..

Becoz peoples actually still open their shop and do their job on holiday..

Our expectation just 200 peoples..

The greeting of Waisak’s Message was:

  Vesakh reminds us about birth as the beginning of problems..
  Vesakh reminds us about the perfection of virtue as the medicine for (not to be) birth again..
  Vesakh reminds us about eternity that has to be attained after processes of endless birth cycle.. 

Next to this celebration, we will hold another ceremony..

It’ll be Waisak Ceremony on May 25^th from 6 pm (considering for Sunday nite)..

Different with the May 20^th celebration, Puja will be ended with Paddakhina as the ritual to give salutation by circling walk on Dhammasala, Bodhi Plaza dan Stupa Plaza..

We also gonna hold bazaar and art performing on the dinner time..

We call it “Malam Ramah Tamah” or “Hospitality Night”..

Our target is to gather more than 700 peoples for that night..

Hopefully lah ya..

several days ago, i found some odd things that catched up my sight..

it was written that: "due sickness of the PRINTER and still in a healing moment, the transcript issuing will be postponed"

i found this in front of a college office..

and they use word "heal" for the "printer’s sickness"..

hahahahhahahahahaha..

and the other one was..

i dunno how to interpret it.. "Rusty Girl"

that girl was so rusty or what..?? becoz if she was rusty, so it means that she was soooooo old.. hahahahahahahaha..

meanwhile, i wanna show u a beautiful phone cell accesory that given to me by Lee Jihea, my BYLT mate from Korea.. it’s so beautiful.. and it’s purple..
